Issue: There is a temptation to send messages on social networking sites and mobile phones that you would never say face to face.

Action:

• -Never send a message which could cause offence, not even as a joke.
• -Remember that any messages that you send can be saved, printed and shared.
• -Consider whether you would be happy for your family, employer, college staff or the police to see what you have sent or posted.
