Discovery of a Fire
- Operate the nearest fire alarm.
- Contact the nearest member of staff.
Fire Alarm
The fire alarm will sound as a continuous tone. On hearing this collect belongings from where you are and:
EVACUATE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY
Assembly Areas:
- Tower Block - Far side of entrance to the Car Park.
- CCC Building - Reception Top Car Park.
- Harty Building - Reception Top Car.
- Do no re-enter the building to reach your assembly area.
- The lifts must not be used during an evacuation.
RE-ENTRY BACK INTO THE BUILDING WILL BE AUTHORISED BY THE SENIOR FIRE OFFICIAL OR THE COLLEGE DUTY HEAD.
